German Ramirez is a subject matter expert in the digital and social media area. A digital pioneer, he started his first successful eCommerce project as early as 1996. He has been involved in the rise and fall of the new economy and has launched some of the first and most innovative mobile and social media projects worldwide. He has a successful international entrepreneurial track record and has driven innovation and change to some of the largest companies on the planet.

German Ramirez is the Founder and Managing Partner of SPARK & STRATEGY Digital & Social Media Consulting & Coaching, a boutique consultancy that provides high impact and ROI through digital and social media strategic consulting and coaching services. The company operates globally across industries from FMCG to Financial Services for Start-­‐‑Ups all the way through to Fortune 500.

Prior to launching his consulting business, German worked for Zurich Financial Services Ltd. where, as the Global Head of Digital Marketing and Member of the Executive Team, he was responsible for his firm’s digital strategy worldwide. His career has spanned diverse industries – from marketing wine and beverages globally to cosmetics or eCommerce. He has worked in leading global corporations as well as in several successful start‑ups.
